WRPS Traffic Services Unit Continue to Investigate a Pedestrian Collision in Waterloo

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Services Unit is continuing to investigate a collision involving a pedestrian at a Waterloo mall.

On February 5, 2024 at approximately 7:20 p.m., WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit responded with officers from Neighborhood Policing to Conestoga Mall for a collision in the parking lot.

The collision involved a 54-year-old Kitchener female who was struck by a vehicle driven by a 55-year-old female from Waterloo. The pedestrian was transported to an out-of-region hospital, where she was in stable condition and sustained minor injuries. No highways were closed as a result.

The investigation is ongoing. 

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dash-camera footage is asked to call police at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
