WRPS Traffic Services Unit Investigate a Fatal Collision in the Township of Woolwich

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Unit are investigating a fatal collision in Woolwich Township.

On July 13, 2024, at approximately 5:50 p.m., a motor vehicle collision occurred on Floradale Road involving a motorcycle and a tractor.

The motorcycle was travelling north on Floradale Road when it was struck by the tractor.

The driver of the motor cycle, a 31-year-old male from Arthur suffered extensive injures as a result of the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The roadway was closed for several hours for the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing.
