
Waterloo Region, Ontario – Members of the Waterloo Regional Police Service's Traffic Unit are continuing to investigate a collision that occurred in Kitchener.
On March 17, 2023, around 11 a.m., emergency services responded to the intersection of Homer-Watson Boulevard and Hanson Avenue for reports of a collision involving two motor vehicles.
The initial investigation determined that a Ford, travelling north on Homer-Watson Boulevard, had struck a Hyundai, turning east onto Hanson Avenue.
As a result, the passenger of the Hyundai, a 45-year-old Kitchener male, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services.
Roadways were closed for several hours while police investigated.
