WRPS Traffic Services Unit Investigating Collision Involving Cyclist in Wilmot Township

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police continue to investigate a motor vehicle collision that occurred in Wilmot Township. 

On August 31, 2022, at approximately 2:05 p.m., emergency services responded to a collision at the intersection of Nafziger Road and Snyders Road.  

Through the initial investigation, police learned that the driver of a grey Dodge SUV towing a travel trailer struck a cyclist.  

The cyclist, a 56-year-old female, was transported by Region of Waterloo Paramedic Services to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.  

The investigation remains ongoing.
