Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a serious pedestrian-involved collision in Cambridge.
On January 11, 2025, at approximately 12:20 a.m., emergency services responded to multiple reports of a pedestrian crossing Hespeler Road near Langs Drive being struck by a black KIA.
The pedestrian was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the KIA, a 26-year-old Kitchener female, did not sustain any physical injuries.
The southbound lanes of Hespeler Road were closed between Pinebush Road and Langs Drive for several hours for the investigation and have since reopened.
The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Services Unit.
