WRPS' Traffic Services Unit Investigating Waterloo Motorcycle Collision

Waterloo Region, Ontario – Waterloo Regional Police are continuing to investigate a single-vehicle motorcycle collision in Waterloo.

On April 6, 2024, at approximately 4:25 p.m., emergency services responded to reports of a collision on Columbia Street West near Ladyslipper Drive.

The motorcyclist, a 46-year-old male, was transported to an out-of-region hospital with serious physical injuries.

Columbia Street West was closed between St. Moritz Avenue and Ladyslipper Drive for several hours and has since re-opened.

The investigation is ongoing by WRPS’ Traffic Service Unit.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is encouraged to call police at 519-570-9777, extension 8856.
